COGNIA

Cognia (formerly AdvancED) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of Pre K-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential. Combining the knowledge and expertise of a research institute, the skills of a management consulting firm and the passion of a grassroots movement for educational change, Cognia (formerly AdvancED) serves as a trusted partner to 32,000 schools and school systems, employing more than four million educators and enrolling more than 20 million students, across the United States and 70 other nations.

Cognia (formerly AdvancED) was created through a 2006 merger of the Pre K-12 divisions of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) – and expanded through the addition of the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) in 2011.

MSA CESS

The MSA’s Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA CESS) accredit early-childhood through post-secondary, non-degree granting public, private, faith-based educational institutions including special purpose schools, supplementary education centers, learning services providers, and distance education institutions.

They are affiliated with the United States State Department’s Office of Overseas Schools and provide accreditation services to American and international style schools attended by members of the U.S. foreign service and U. S. citizens working for non-government agencies and multi-national corporations. The Commission on Secondary Schools is also recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a gatekeeper for eligibility for Title IV funding for post-secondary non-degree granting institutions and distance education.

ACS WASC

ACS WASC advances and validates quality ongoing school improvement by supporting its private and public elementary, secondary, and postsecondary member institutions to engage in a rigorous and relevant self-evaluation and peer review process that focuses on equity, inclusion, and access to high-level, rigorous learning opportunities for all students.

Accreditation International

Accreditation International (Ai) is unique in the field of accreditation, as not only does Ai accredit in five fields of education – schools, career and technical, distance education, early childhood, and supplementary education, but it also encourages and works “hands-on” in partnership with countries toward the development of new accreditation organizations. Ai has a cadre of experienced accreditation leaders and review team members from all over world, speaking dozens of different languages and representing various cultures.

Leaders from the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), the Council on Occupational Education (COE), the International Council for Education, and former Executive Directors from the USA regional accreditors have contributed to the development and delivery of standards, policies, and procedures available to Accreditation International (Ai). Ai assures the educational quality of schools and plans for continuous school improvement to increase student learning. Ai standards are based on international research, best practices, and historical accreditation processes.

Association of Independent Schools of Florida

The Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF) is recognized by the Florida Association of Academic Non-Public Schools as an accrediting agency for private schools in Florida. AISF is a Charter Member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation. NCPSA serves as a national review panel for the standards and procedures of private school accrediting associations in the United States.

Affiliated schools offer small class groupings, flexible programs, and helpful teacher-pupil ratios. AISF schools stress academic fundamentals while tailoring their instructional programs to meet the needs, capabilities, and interests of their students.

National Council for Private School Accreditation

The National Council for Private School Accreditation is dedicated to the accreditation process as a viable and responsible means of establishing a witness of school excellence. NCPSA is committed to accreditation based on the concept of voluntary peer recognition; that is, the principle that institutions sharing common purposes and distinctive are better able to assist one another in achieving the standards for academic excellence and responsiveness to their respective public and the nation.

The National Council for Private School Accreditation seeks to promote and support independent and autonomous accrediting associations serving private early childhood, elementary, and secondary schools which are committed to quality educational programs.

National Collegiate Athletic Association

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a membership-driven organization dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of student-athletes and equipping them with the skills to succeed on the playing field, in the classroom and throughout life. They support learning through sports by integrating athletics and higher education to enrich the college experience of student-athletes.

NCAA members – mostly colleges and universities, but also conferences and affiliated groups – work together to create the framework of rules for fair and safe competition. Those rules are administered by NCAA national office staff, which also organizes national championships and provides other resources to support student-athletes and the schools they attend. The NCAA membership and national office work together to help more than 460,000 student-athletes develop their leadership, confidence, discipline and teamwork through college sports.
